It is the short bed and after I posted the question I realized I needed the knotched fender. I finished painting a few months ago and will not be changing the fender so my plan now it to carry a spare in the bed, up against the front right behind the cab. I will only carry it on trips, like the Hot Rod Power Tour in June. I did mount a jack and tire wrench under the seat.
