The Vortec bowtie heads are supposed to produce almost the same amount of gains as the Fastburn heads for cheaper. These aren't the same as regular vortec heads, they are basically castiron fastburn heads. I think the machineshop that rebuilt my 261 had Vortec Bowtie heads for $100 or $150 apeice, without valves/guides/seals, springs, rockers... Let me know if you want the guy's name and number.
