Once I see something wrong I naturally want to see if there is anything else that looks suspicious. I'm more interested in learning from mistakes than pointing fingers. Critiques appreciated:
1.) Looking at the front axle, why so many nuts on the u-bolts? Spacers? Re-using the old u-bolts with the new spring packs and not enough threads remaining on the old bolts?
2.) The front axle stops, hard to see in the picture, is now close to the frame....maybe bottoming out?
3.) The steering arms, drag link and pitman arm look original judging by the amount of dirt and grease. I wish there were better pictures available. Example of potential bump steer caused by modification?
I'm beginning to think that this was someone's project that never got completed and was sold off. It was then cheaply dropped in stance to make it appealing visually.
