Hi, I posted this in the engine and driveline section and received no responses so I will try it here. I'm putting a 55 car engine (235) in a 59 pickup. I did this swap once before in 1975. If memory serves me correct the throttle linkage is different between the cars and trucks. I have the correct linkage from the pedal to the bellcrank on the side of the engine. Is the bellcrank and linkage to the carb unique to pickups? If so, what years of truck linkage will work? And last question, if different does anyone have some linkage they are willing to part with?
