Drain about half a gallon of coolant, just enough to get the level below the temp sender height. No need to drain all of it. Save what you drained and pour it back in. Quick and easy! Run the engine with the radiator cap off long enough for the thermostat to open to be sure you don't have any trapped air, and top off as necessary.
