I have a 5700 COE with a Carter BB-2 updraft carb on a 261ci. When searching the web for Carter BB-2, nothing comes up, only BB-1 and BBR (BBR-2s). Hemmings has an article from 2011 describing BB 1, 2 and 3 size units. The BB size 2 has a 1 1/4-inch bore with a 211/16-inch mounting base. Is that describing the BB-2? Where is the serial number located to get a rebuild kit.
