The other gasket / seal is more than likely the front crankshaft harmonic balancer seal. As far as the gas tank, it's a good bet it will need to be cleaned. You can save yourself a load of heart ache and remove it. Once you have it out you can better make a decision on cleaning or replacing. ... I know like others here we would love to see some pictures of your truck once you can post them. Good luck
