I have a 1959 261cu.in. engine in my 59 Apache. I tried different carbs and settled on a Rochester mono jet off of a later model 250 engine. You can find one with a manual choke on late 60's, early 70's chevy trucks. My engine is much more responsive and it is a bolt on fit.
