I just finished putting a '58 235 from a car in my '53 along with the original 3 speed column shifter. The motor had side mounts when I got it, I removed them, drilled holes in the front mount and it dropped right in. I did have to add a spacer so the larger car flywheel would clear the frame. I also replaced the rubber in the front mount and the one's on the bell housing.
