Sounds like I need to stay with a 292. If I need to modify mite as well make it worth while. I can deal with some modifications if not too major. Not sure what stock is but I would like a 4 speed manual. I was reading that the Muncie M20 or the SM465 were good. Not sure how they play in to the 292 idea. Still lots to learn for me.
