| Crusing in the Passing Lane Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 5,096 | Don't use the clutch when shifting hi/lo, but must be going slow enough and speed up engine to be pulling to engage, otherwise if engine isn't going fast enough for the lower gear, it won't engage and just ratchet.
