The 49 and earlier AD had the door glass encased with the steel frame around glass. I want keep the one piece window but go to non encased glass if possible. (like in the 51 and later models). Has anyone done this or know of a kit that can be used in the conversion. Could a reputable glass shop cut one from a pattern and I use the 51-54 window channel, etc?
