Hello! Thanks for allowing me in the forum. I have run a few old beauties over the years, but there was one dream truck that has always eluded me. I have always wanted a '55 first series GMC, short wheelbase. For me that is as good as it gets. I have always thought it was the perfect truck, but chances of finding one were nill. I just stumbled on one that was absolutely pristine! No rust through. 33K miles. The seat cover isn't even torn. The old napa 6 volt battery with positive ground is still there. even those cool old GMC gauges are intact and look amazing. I am just over the top and can't quit staring at her and planning!
There will be a lot of work to get it to the level that I want, but it is an amazing starting point.
