Did you buy the fittings and connect the fuel injection hose to fuel valve and fuel line to pump? Sounds like a great idea being this Gasoline is terrible.
Also any suggestions on a fuel filter make/model?
I was told to avoid the cheap see-thru ones?
I use the old timey style metal-bodied one with the glass bowl.
I upgraded to the in-the-tank style fuel pickup incorporated with the sending unit at the top of the tank for a '55.2 and later truck. It comes with a filter sock on it, thus it won't clog up as easily as the original pipe on the bottom of the tank on the original design.
