Supposedly (according to Jim Carter): The “backsplash” on painted grills was light gray (
Thistle Gray) to match hub caps and bumpers.
PPG has a code for that color (info is in a Stovebolt.com Tech Tip).
However, maybe someone here (who has done this, satisfactorily, with spray-can paint) will post product info?
