Regarding fenders: the 57 front fenders are very similar to the 55.2 and 56, but are slightly different. Due to the unique grill used on the 57, the fenders have a flat spot and mounting hole at the sides of the grill opening to attach the grill surround. With a little bodywork, a 57 fender can be used on the 55.2 and 56 - I had to do that on mine...
