You sure cant go by any brand.I have used some blockhuggers,or S10 conversion headers,when space was limited.On other applications you have all kinds of room.My advice Check an see how much room you have,then go to a good speed shop and find something that will fit.If you are looking for performance the full lenght headers with collectors are ideal.On my 55 I had steering clearnce problems so I had to go with the blockhuggers,but on my 72 I have the full lenght headers,and performancewise there is a lot of difference.Oh yeah,get a good set of coated ones,leave the El Cheapos on the shelf.
