Hello, I am looking at a '65 Chevy C10 and trying to learn about it. I am new to both old trucks and this site. My question is: The original engine has been replaced with a 250 in the truck I am looking at. How can I determine what the original engine was? I would like to know if it was a 230 or 292. I do not think it was a V8 283.
