I trimmed up the driver. I bought it at napa and it was like a half size in between. Like.you, it was too big. I had a clutch head fitting for an impact gun and that breaks em loose. Pretty much anything you can get in the slot will work once I ended up replacing the clutch head with pan head bolts from fastenal
