Is the Rustol product you used meant to be a final cote? Some rust remover products must be coated with a final sealing coat?

Hi Ed, yes the product itself can be used as a final cote, but then you'll have to re-cote every 2 to 3 years (like you would do your rusted old metal fence)
I'm leaning towards a clear cote finish, but have to check the clear paint compositions, because competability with the rustol could be an issue.
