1966 C-10 Short / Step 250 auto. I have had the grill out of my truck for a month now doing other things. Here is the condition I'm facing after reinstalling the grill. FYI - nine years ago I installed one of the LMC halogen light conversion kits. It worked fine when I took the grill out. I have reconnected halogen wiring harness to the factory wiring harness. With the headlight switch on, I show power to the top connector of the three prong socket, and also power to the non-negative side of the three prong connector. I have also ran a continuity check on the halogen light bulbs, and they check out as good. When I activate the dimmer switch, the power disappears from the two prongs that had power before. I'm thinking the dimmer switch is bad. Tail lights and license plate lights operate properly when the light switch is turned on.
