Getting that torque tube transmission out of there to work on it is quite a challenge. Before disconnecting the driveshaft, be sure the truck is supported by jack stands at the frame, not the axle housing, as the weight of the truck on the springs will cause the torque tube to slam down with enough force to injure you.
