finally got around to wiring my fuel gauge up but when i turn the key the needle moves straight to E and it has half a tank in it. did some adjusting on the new sending unit, gauge unit is new as well. is there an adjustment i have to do to the gauge? i have to dissassemble the cluster to put a new temp gauge anyway so if its that please help me out. All connections are solid and everything is brand new, has ground, etc..
Edit: the hot wire has never touched the sender terminal, so it shouldnt be damaged.
