That same long stroke modification to the 261 can also be done on a 235- - - -both or them use stock pistons and the deck height only increases slightly, which could be corrected by decking the block, but isn't really necessary. The long stroke 235 goes to 266 cubic inches- - - - -and there are a LOT of 235's out there to play around with!
