Yes my socket is angled. I was thinking maybe the regular flasher may work because I am leaving the incandescent bulbs in the front they seem fairly bright with the frosted glass. Probably be a bit of trial and error to get it figured out. I just ordered some led bulbs that tclederman suggested, it will be about a week before I get them. Thanks for the information
