I called a welding shop in town, and asked if they could send over a welder.. the owner quoted me $125.00 to weld in the crossmember... the kid showed up and worked on the truck for 6 hours.. welded in the whole front end.. he was supposed to get $45.00 an hour.. but the shop owner wouldnt take any more money... great guy.. I'm going to get my own welder tho.. and do my own work..
I bolted a tubular engine crossover setup in tho.. after test fitting it and drilling in set screws, I took it to a welding shop and they charged me $20.00 to weld the ends on..
