I have 993 heads here at home, as well as 882. They do both look exactely the same, both lightweight cast, both crack prone, the ports looks the same. Both with big 76cc chambers. Used for a long time a pair of 882 on a high performance Caravan here (Caravan in brazil is a small chevy station wagon, no minivan) but them swapped them for a pair of 441. Much better heads, smaller 69cc chambers, the exhaust port looks a li'l bigger.
I'd not use a 882/993 if I could use another. After a long time I got a pair of 461, and I'm into removing the engine and rebuilding it all over again just cause of the 461. Would like to have a set of TFS or any other aluminum head, but cash is a li'l short these days.
