For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Oct 2014 Posts: 56 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Oct 2014 Posts: 56 | So I learnt something new today.... The manifolds on the 216 and 235 are slightly different. 216 seems to have a straight exhaust flange while the 235 is curved at like 25d...
This may be a long shot but anyone have a 216 exhaust manifold (with the straight not curved outlet) that they may be willing to part with? I bought a NOS intake and exhaust set tagged for the 216/235 not realizing their is a difference. So either I replace the exhaust head pipe or I replace the manifold. My original manifold has the plate seized up pretty bad. I could use it if I have to, but maybe someone has a fully functioning original exhaust? Would love to eventually get it actually on the road this year.
Thanks.
