I'm a first time user of this forum so please be patient with me. I'm trying to make a 1953 corvette "Blue flame engine" work w/ 3 speed transmission. If I replace the 235ci cam with a 261 cam, the solid lifters with hydraulic lifters and the shorter 10 5/8 pushrods with the longer 11 1/4 pushrods, will all the internal changes work or do I need other internal engine changes?
