We are installing a Newport Engineering electric wiper motor in a '49 3100. We do have the correct motor that clears the choke cable.

We have the motor installed and the wiper arms connected to the motor. It did take some work to get the mounting brackets in positions so that the wiper mounting screw holes were near the mid-position of the slots.

The problem we appear to have is that the rotating head on the motor travels so far that the 2 arms contact each other. They hit so hard that it forces the c-clips off the posts and the arms fall off the post.

I know there is some adjustment for the park position.

Is there an adjustment for travel during the operating cycle?
