Sorry I guess I should clarify a bit better. Ok to start over. I have a 1957 Chevy 6400 truck. In a few days I'm getting a 1995 Chevy 3/4 ton 4x4. I'm going to be taking the old 57 body and placing it on the 1995 frame/chassis. The 1995 has an automatic that is bad. I'm thinking about putting a manual nv4500 in its place. My question is, is the length from the bell housing to the transfer case the same on both setups? To avoid changing the cross member on the 1995 and all drivelines?
