I shopped around quite a bit when I rebuilt mine and found the best deal by some of the kit from Northern Auto parts, some from Kanters and I think some from Carquest - but I saved hundreds over Napa and others package deals. The Kanters parts - hard to find mains for a '54 only - appeared to be in some pretty old packaging, but worked great. I've put 2000 or so miles on it with no problems. Good luck on the rebuild.
