So i found a complete distributor from one of our farm trucks.
Its a 1950 GMC 350.
It also has the 302 engine that has been used for spare parts in past....
So, i sprayed the distributor down so it would loosen up, hope to get it out today.
Gonna use the old distributor housing and center rod as a drive rod to spin oil pump.
But first i will make sure the oil pump is freed up.... I assume the oil pump is prolly stuck and that caused the distributor gear to get stripped.
Will also check cam gear for damage.
I will have to re-time distributor for No.1 cylinder as well...
