Remember that the pump has to sit on the bottom of the tank, or you'll never be able to use the gas in the bottom. Best bet is to use a complete tank, pump and sending unit from a TBI vehicle, or you'll have to shorten/extend the tube that mounts the pump in a way that doesn't mess up the accuracy of the float. GM used the same pump in most if not all TBI vehicles, and the pickup screen is cheap and easy to replace when the pump is out of the tank.
