| | | | Joined: Feb 2017 Posts: 83 Vintage Truck & Tractor | | Vintage Truck & Tractor Joined: Feb 2017 Posts: 83 | I am putting new brakes on my 61 C20. Also clean and pack front wheel bearings. Is the inner bearing race for the inner ball bearing supposed to be free to spin on the spindle a little, or should that be a snug fit. Perhaps it tightens up when you tighten the nut on the end? I can tighten it up with a few peen marks and or some locktite sleeve retainer.
