For helping keep this great

on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jun 2017 Posts: 177 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2017 Posts: 177 | I need to get some new wheels. But I don't know what backspacing I need or how wide I should get.
1950 Chevy 3100. Factory ride height. Straight axle. Added disc brakes. Instructions said the disc kit would add 1/2 or 3/4 of an inch of each side. I want to keep with 15 inch. Disc kit changed lug pattern to 5x4.75. I also have power steering using GM box on frame.
What have you guys used? What backspacing and wheel width do you guys recommend.
Matt
