Have a 52 Chevy 3100 pickup w/ 4 speed tranny. Has new pressure plate, clutch, & throw-out bearing. After messing with the clutch adjustment, I heard a clunking noise then shifting into 2nd gear but no other gear (engine was off). It would freely shift out of 2nd, but every time shifted back in - "clunk". Rats, after starting engine I shifted into reverse - worked fine. Then went into 2nd, heard clunk. Now it is stuck in 2nd & can't get it out. Did I mess the clutch up? Any help would be appreciated soon, as I am to sell the truck in 2 days & I was just trying to tweak stuff prior to it's sell.
