For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: May 2005 Posts: 1,624 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: May 2005 Posts: 1,624 | Dropped a fresh 230ci in truck. Tried all day to get 3 speed manual tranny to fit up. Lacked about 1/2” to bell housing. Engine has new everything including crank. Got to thinking rebuilder put auto trans pilot bushing in crank instead of manual. I don’t know the sizes of the two. Any help on that. Need to know if auto trans bushing is smaller and manual tranny snout not go in. Also, anyone have a neat trick to remove bushing other than the grease/dowel rod method? Thanks.
