His radiator/water pump misalignment is pretty severe. I don't think that a homemade shroud alone will work unless he can lower the radiator 3-4 inches.
I lowered my radiators to solve the same issue with a '49 and a '52 3100 with 350 V8s. It required cutting, reshaping and re-welding the bottom corners of the radiator support.
pre-68 Dave makes the water pump relocation plates for the later model 235s for the AD trucks. Maybe you can PM him and pick his brain about making one for a 292.
