Dude, if you can in any way afford it, go get yourself one of those Mustang II knockoff IFS kits. Yeah, they're expensive but they can't be beat for simplicity of installation and they keep your front body mount intact to boot! If you lose your stock body mount you will have to design a new one, this can be tricky. If you have plenty of scrap laying around and are a good fabricator then by all means, go ahead. If you have any doubts whatsoever as to your fabrication skills, think twice before you chop your frame!
I went with the Nova subframe for my '52 and am not 100% happy with the outcome. I wish I had gone with an MII IFS setup. They are so much cleaner when done right.
