Interesting Wally. The only things are: 1. You can’t “hard line” from the fuel pump to the carb/filter and 2. The filter only fits Fords according to the attached chart. I have no idea if the large nut where the fuel line plumbs into the carb are the same. The only thing I know about Fords is how to spell Ford.
What do you mean you can't hard line? I put an aftermarket glass bowl filter on my carb, and I believe it came with old-style instructions on how to rebend the hard line to fit, if that's what you're referring to.
