its pretty easy since most things line up, your going from a 235 to a later 235 so i cant say that you will run into the same minor problems that i did going from a 216 to a later 235, but here are the problems that i ran into.
1. i had to fabricate a bracket for my alternator out of some stuff i had lying around in the junk pile that i call a garage, took me longer than it should because the more beers i had the worse my fabricated bracket fit, i left it until the next morning and made it fit pretty quick.
2. i had a clearance problem with the intake manifold and the column shift linkage but was able to grind a little off the manifold to solve the problem. the 216 manifold didnt have as much meat on it as the thicker 235
3. my 216 didnt have an oil filter so in order to mount the 235 oil filter i had to relocate the horn to the inner fenderwell.
4. the waterpump change that was mentioned earlier is also necessary, i had some alignment problems with this also but they were caused because i bought a new 2 groove harmonic balancer and the grooves on the new one were not the same distance from the snout of the balancer as on the old one.
