The 6 volt Delco regulators that I have seen all have two screws in the covers , one in one corner and one in the opposite corner on the diagonal. The 12 volt regulators have a flange on each end at the base level. t
The cover screws are short, one on each end at the flange. This does not apply to aftermarket regulators.
