I assumed the oil level was checked. Is your friend mechanically inclined? With automotive? Is this truck new to him?
Oil Level was checked. I mentioned Motor Mounts to him and he says they are new, but he is going to re-check them anyway. He is actually an Old School 50 Year Mechanic and has plenty of experience, but no experience with this particular Transfer Case. The truck has been in his family for about 35 years and is totally restored. The Transfer Case problem is the first time it ever gave him any trouble.
