My wife was out in our 2006 3/4T Dodge. I got a frantic phone call that an alarm was going off, it was smoking, and a liquid was pouring out underneath.
I jumped in the old '62 C10 and headed to her location on Interstate 5.
By the time I got there, AAA had already been called. I quickly diagnosed a bad fuel line. Thankfully it's a diesel.
While sitting on the side of the freeway waiting for the tow truck,. California Highway Patrol showed up. He was shocked and surprised and even laughed when we told him it was the new truck that was down. He had to ask a second time to verify it was the new truck and not the old truck that was broken down. His reaction was so strong that I just had to share it.
