I don't have any preferences as there are a lot of good products out there. There are several variables however, depending what you are using for an exhaust system. The HEI ignition was introduced in 1975, they also used manifolds on small blocks that were located below the spark plugs. So the wires were on top of the engine over the rocker covers. Earlier rams horn manifolds typically had the plug wires under the manifolds which looks much cleaner in most applications.. Subsequently a stock set for a factory HEI wouldn't work well with rams horns. If you have rams horns and can find a set that is longer and specifically made for that set up, that would be my suggestion. If you have headers, you're on your own.
