old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: May 2018 Posts: 31 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2018 Posts: 31 | I have a 1938 1.5 ton with a leaky gas tank. I can’t find a new replacement for 1938 but the pictures of new 1939 tanks look very similar. The fill neck on the 39 looks longer and maybe a little forward as compared to the 38. Does anyone know whether the 39 tank can be easily modified to fit my 38 truck? Right now it looks like I’ll have use a sealer (POR15) but I’d much rather have a new tank. | | | |
