Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,100 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,100 | Hy Mr. Dane, valves can be adjusted cold for an initial startup, but adjusting them after the engine has been brought up to temperature and allowed to normalize will give you an adjustment closest to specification. Hydraulic lifters are much more forgiving in their adjustment, once all the clearance is gone between the components then anywhere between a half and one turn down will set the plunger in the "middle" of its travel, hope that helps. | | | |
