New to the forum, but not old iron. My tastes do run towards South Bend's finest (Studebakers), but my wife inherited a '50 216 powered half ton, ex Air Force, or was it still Air Corps back then? someday we will have it back on the road.
My main reason for joining was for technical info. I have been rebuilding engines professionally for 32 years ( you get a masters degree,and you too can work in a machine shop! ).
We have 2, 235s in the shop now, a late engine that is going into a '52, and '44ish babbitt pounder. NOS military block and head, modifying the block to accept a late full-pressure crank. It fits a G506 ton and a half Army truck.
And a 289 Stude, 352 Packard, 7 Model T, 2 Bristol 6 cylinders, 2 '28 Stutz, etc, etc,etc
