Doesn't he want to raise the "ratio" ? (3.73 to 1 is a higher "ratio" than 3.23 to 1).
I know what you mean, I just want to make sure everyone else does.
I have heard of 3.73 to 1 rear end as being described as lower "gear", and a 3.23 to 1 rear end as a higher "gear", and I am fine with that.
